Trust in an AI-powered organization is earned through resilience, governance, and optimization. These are not separate challenges; a security incident can quickly become a resilience issue, a governance gap can drive unnecessary costs, and a single AI agent can expose all three at once.
That's why this quarter's AvePoint Innovates focused on helping organizations strengthen confidence across their digital ecosystem. Here's a look at the latest innovations across the AvePoint Confidence Platform.

Resilience: Recovering What Matters
AI can only deliver value when the systems, data, and identities behind it remain available. This quarter's resilience innovations help organizations recover faster across identities, infrastructure, SaaS applications, and emerging AI workloads.
Microsoft Entra ID is Now Part of Express Recovery
After an incident, identity is often the first service organizations need to restore. Building on previously announced Express Recovery capabilities for Microsoft 365 workloads, Microsoft Entra ID is now part of Express Recovery, extending rapid recovery to the identity layer. Organizations can quickly restore Entra objects and configurations, including users, groups, roles, applications, and policies, helping reestablish access faster and accelerating the return to business operations. Together with the Rapid Recovery System framework, this expands organizations' ability to restore their Minimum Viable Company (MVC) by recovering critical identities, data, and services in the order that matters most.
New Discovery Report for AvePoint Resilience
Effective recovery starts with understanding what is protected. Organizations need visibility into protection coverage, potential gaps, and recovery readiness before an incident occurs.
Rolling out in August, the new AvePoint Resilience Discovery Report combines environment discovery and job monitoring into a single view, helping customers assess protection coverage and recovery readiness without piecing together information from multiple sources.
Expanded Infrastructure and SaaS Coverage
Business-critical data spans platforms, applications, and infrastructure. Protection continues to expand to meet customers where their data lives.
- Infrastructure. New support for Amazon S3 storage, with Azure Kubernetes support coming soon to the Resilience Suite.
- SaaS applications. New coverage for Jira Service Management, with Jira Product Discovery, Trello, and a ServiceNow CSM preview arriving in August.
Copilot Studio Agent Backup: First Look
As AI agents move from experimentation to production, they are becoming business-critical assets that require the same protection as the systems they support.
Coming to private preview in August, Microsoft Copilot Studio Agent Backup extends resilience to agent configurations and business logic. AvePoint is among the first to market with dedicated backup and recovery capabilities for Copilot Studio agents, helping organizations protect business-critical AI assets as they move into production.

Governance and Security: Knowing What Matters Before Something Goes Wrong
If resilience is about recovering what matters, governance is about understanding and protecting it before issues arise. AI didn’t create data sprawl or overexposure, but it has made both far more visible and far more urgent to address. As data continuously evolves, governance must evolve with it. That requires classification that adapts alongside the data it is designed to protect and manage.
Introducing Kinetic Classification
Traditional classification has often been treated as a point-in-time exercise. Kinetic Classification, now in private preview, introduces a continuous approach built on the Unified Scan Engine customers already use:
- Configure. Define what’s important, including sensitive data, risk indicators, and business priorities.
- Discover. Understand what data exists, where it lives, and how it is growing.
- Classify. Apply intelligence and context to identify risk, sensitivity, and business value.
- Secure. Enforce policies, manage access, and monitor activity.
- Manage the lifecycle. Archive, retain, or remove data based on business needs.
Data changes constantly, so classification must evolve with it. That’s the trusted data foundation organizations need to adopt AI with confidence.

AgentPulse Expands to Salesforce Agentforce
Governance begins with visibility. As organizations manage AI agents across multiple platforms, maintaining a unified view becomes increasingly difficult.
AgentPulse now extends beyond Microsoft environments to include Salesforce Agentforce, enabling customers to inventory agents, understand activity, and centralize visibility across their AI ecosystem. This expansion marks another step toward AvePoint's broader vision for agent management.
Automated Owner Identification: Phase 2
Earlier this year, AvePoint introduced automated owner identification to help organizations pinpoint likely owners for workspaces and content without manual guesswork.
Phase 2 makes those ownership insights faster, more scalable, and more transparent. Ownership insights are now generated from more efficient aggregated views rather than large volumes of raw data, and administrators can see live progress as recommendations move through the pipeline.
MyHub: Governance Moves Into the Data Owner’s Workflow
Identifying ownership is only the first step. Effective governance also requires making it easy for owners to take action.
Through MyHub, governance insights and remediation actions are embedded directly into SharePoint and Teams so data owners can understand issues, assess impact, and address concerns within their existing workflows. By empowering the people closest to the data, organizations can scale governance more effectively while reducing reliance on IT.
Lifecycle Governance Expands Further
The same ownership and accountability model continues to expand across the digital estate:
- Solution Renewal. Extends lifecycle management to complete Power Platform business solutions, including ownership, promotion, compliance, and renewal processes.
- Enterprise Applications Governance. Approaching release, this capability automatically discovers applications, confirms ownership, and streamlines renewal workflows.
- Azure Resource Group Governance. Coming soon, this capability provides visibility into ownership, lifecycle management, and cost across Azure resources and subscriptions.

Cloud Optimization: Scaling without the Friction
With resilience and governance in place, organizations can focus on the next challenge: scaling transformation initiatives without creating unnecessary complexity for IT teams or end users.
AvePoint Fly: Mobile Device Migration
Mobile device migration has traditionally been one of the most challenging aspects of tenant migration, often involving manual steps, complex instructions, and increased support volume.
Coming in August 2026, AvePoint Fly's Mobile Device Migration capability delivers a guided, self-service experience for iOS and Android devices managed through Intune. Administrators can manage device retirement and re-enrollment while integrated change-management notifications help guide end users through the process, reducing disruption and minimizing help desk demands.
Security and Compliance Built In
Every innovation announced this quarter reflects AvePoint's ongoing commitment to security, compliance, and customer control. From sovereign cloud deployments and FedRAMP-authorized environments to customer-managed encryption, storage, and authentication, organizations can adopt new technologies with confidence.
AvePoint Fly Server is now the only migration platform with a published DISA STIG, providing customers with a government-recognized hardening baseline that can help streamline security reviews and support deployment in highly regulated environments.
Whether you're protecting data, governing AI, modernizing infrastructure, or migrating critical systems, the goal remains the same: helping you move faster while maintaining control.
