Our Evolution
In 2001, our founders were busy preparing to bring our first product to market — a backup solution for Microsoft's email service, Exchange. Shortly after, their focus quickly turned to providing a backup solution for a new Microsoft product that offered site-based collaboration: SharePoint 2001.

2026
In 2026, AvePoint celebrates its 25th year in business. We expanded the AvePoint Confidence Platform's reach across multicloud environments — protecting Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Salesforce, and ServiceNow data in addition to numerous additional SaaS applications — while broadening governance controls for enterprise apps and cloud infrastructure, further deepening our platform as the unifying trust layer for AI.
