Many of our former interns have gone on to build full-time careers here, growing alongside the teams they first joined as students. From marketing and customer success to data and AI, these individuals started as interns and are now making a measurable impact across AvePoint.
Ashley Lim: From Two-Time Intern to Full Time Sr. Marketing Data Analyst
Ashley Lim has been on quite the journey with AvePoint. She first joined us in 2019 as a Technical Support Intern and made such an impact that we couldn’t wait to have her back. Ashley returned as a Marketing Data Analyst Intern in 2023. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Ashley came back to AvePoint full-time as a Marketing Data Analyst in 2024 and has since been promoted to Sr. Marketing Data Analyst. She continues to advance her expertise at our Arlington office, and the team looks forward to her continued contributions.
Mimi Sarmin: Helping Scale AvePoint’s Customer Success Team to Full-Time Sales Development Representative
As a Virginia Commonwealth University student, Mimi jumped into Customer Success operations with enthusiasm as an intern. Her contributions helped streamline internal processes, making the team more efficient than ever. Recognizing her talent, we welcomed Mimi as she pivoted into a full-time Sales Development Representative role in 2025. Today, she supports our Richmond office by managing leads, qualifying prospects, and driving revenue growth.
Kevin Thompson: Intern to AI Prototype Engineer
Kevin Thompson joined AvePoint’s Data and AI team in 2024 as an intern and quickly became an integral part of the group. Through his hard work and dedication, he successfully transitioned into a full-time role as a Machine Learning Analyst. Kevin has played a key role in building and testing interaction and response results for AvePoint’s ChatAVPT product, contributing to the continued development of our AI capabilities.
Kevin, a Depaul University alum, converted from an intern to full-time employee. His continued Data and AI initiatives earned him a well-deserved promotion as an AI Prototype Engineer in our Jersey City Office.
Carolina Granaci: Growth Marketing Intern to Full-Time Specialist
Carolina Granaci first joined AvePoint in 2025 as a Growth Marketing Intern, where she supported cross-functional marketing campaigns and contributed research to identify new growth opportunities.
After graduating from Columbia University, Carolina returned to AvePoint full-time in 2026 as a Growth Marketing Specialist. She continues to bring fresh ideas and data-driven insights to our marketing team as she helps drive growth across the business.
Cristian Rodriguez: Social Media Intern to Senior Communications Manager
Cristian Rodriguez began his journey with AvePoint in 2021 as a Social Media Intern while attending Villanova University, where he helped support the marketing team’s social media efforts and quickly showed a strong talent for storytelling and audience engagement.
After graduating, Cristian joined AvePoint full-time in 2022 as a Public Relations Coordinator and has continued to grow his career with the company. Today, he serves as a Senior Communications Manager in our marketing department, based out of our New Jersey office. He helps lead communications initiatives and share AvePoint’s story with audiences around the world.
