The latest DocAve Governance Automation release features support for SharePoint 2016, a new mobile application, and the ability to deploy pre-configured business templates

With the latest release of AvePoint’s SharePoint governance solution, organization now have access to a single governance system that allows businesses to easily manage the latest SharePoint versions – including SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2013, and SharePoint Online – under a centralized platform.

DocAve Governance Automation allows organizations to easily manage and automate SharePoint lifecycle and permissions management requests to implement an extensible governance strategy that empowers users, is easy to maintain, and scales as the business grows. New features include:

SharePoint 2016 Support – The latest release of DocAve Governance Automation introduces a broad level of support for SharePoint 2016 across all service types and functions. This allows organizations to ensure that all of their SharePoint environments – including on premises, cloud, and hybrid – can take advantage of automated services, approval processes, and reporting to give users the resources they need while reducing IT workload and meeting governance objectives.

DocAve Governance Automation Mobile App – Governance Automation’s ability to route requests for permissions, provisioning, and lifecycle operations through dynamic approval processes enables organizations to effectively enforce change management controls. However, productivity can be impacted as users wait for approvers to address their requested service. In this release of Governance Automation, AvePoint has introduced a new mobile application for Android and iOS devices to allow approvers to view, assess, and act on Governance Automation-related requests from anywhere at any time, enabling approvers to move requests through the system quickly, minimizing any impact on user productivity.

Pattern Deployment Integration – Organizations can now allow users to request fully configured business application templates – known as “patterns” – created with DocAve Deployment Manager as part of their standard site and site collection requests. This ensures that complex templates can be easily created and deployed within SharePoint without slowing down business processes.
