It was great to participate in the 2012 kickoff AvePoint Management Summit, and extremely rewarding to see the tremendous growth of the Product Management team’s young guns. We have made great strides in establishing a metrics-driven Product Management infrastructure: It’s our mission to reach out to customers and make sure we understand their concerns and continue addressing their SharePoint pain points. We want customers to always think of AvePoint when they have SharePoint problems to solve – to help our customers address the SharePoint management cracks in the sidewalk everyone is walking around: Our DocAve Software Platform is comprehensive and fortified by our truly 24/7, global customer-focused support organization.
It was very exciting to see that everyone at AvePoint – from Sales and Marketing to Systems Engineering and Product Management – is energized and ready to support the launch of DocAve 6. DocAve usability improvements are across all products and our enterprise scalability has made great strides – all while moving to an entirely Microsoft-based technology stack. During 2011, we learned a tremendous amount about SharePoint governance pain points, which is exactly why we are working very hard to bring the Governance Automation product to market this year.
It was insightful to see the tremendous customer focus among the AvePoint management leadership. This focus permeates throughout every department in our global company – spanning 23 offices on 5 continents. This makes sense to me, as we wouldn’t be where we are today without our loyal customers. My message to them is that AvePoint will always strive to address customer SharePoint challenges with our solutions.
