Heard Around #shifthappens Conference Track Sessions

We closed out day two with many sessions focused on the thought leadership, business value, and technical tips needed to advance digital workplace success.

While we couldn’t catch them all, here are some points we overheard during the sessions:

Transforming Content Management: “AvePoint support has been so helpful – if I want them on the phone or a Zoom call, they will be there. We’ve saved time and reduced sprawl, redundancy, and silos.” One of our customers shared this perspective during a session on how close collaboration with AvePoint has enabled their organization to streamline Microsoft 365 governance and content management.

Balancing Security, Privacy and Productivity: “We can have security without privacy, but we can’t have privacy without security. Responsible and ethical use of data is everyone’s responsibility.” AvePoint’s own Dana Simberkoff, Chief Risk, Privacy and Information Security Officer, emphasized the importance of balancing security and productivity as AI becomes more prevalent in the digital workplace.

Measuring the Impact of Digital Investments: “Every measurement has a story behind it, and that story is important – put the explanation on the page. Pinpoint the strategic initiatives and connect them to outcomes that resonate with leadership. Measuring things like customer satisfaction can demonstrate digital progress, which improves our business.” A longtime AvePoint customer explained how they use data-driven insights to measure the true impact of their digital workplace investments.

Governing AI Responsibly: “When it comes to AI, whether it’s a promise or a pitfall, it’s in our hands … You never want to take the human out of the loop – there’s a whole ethics and policy piece around how you deploy.” Industry veterans shared words of wisdom on governing AI ethically during their risk management session.

We want to thank all the attendees and speakers who joined us these last two days. We were excited to have people back together in person to discuss topics we’re all so passionate about – hybrid work, digital workplace transformation, generative AI, machine learning, and more.
