New Video Series: Faces of the Global Microsoft SharePoint Community

If you’re reading this post, there’s a good chance you’re already well aware of the global Microsoft SharePoint Community. If you’ve been to a SharePoint Conference, a SharePoint Saturday, or any other SharePoint-related event, you know that it’s a group of wildly passionate, driven, and intelligent individuals. Always taking the “Share” in SharePoint to heart, it is a group anxious to impart new ideas, best practices, and lessons learned with the rest of the community. It’s a truly diverse group of people from all parts of the world who come from all walks of life.

AvePoint’s origins with SharePoint date back to more than a decade ago with the platform’s inception in 2001 – back when it was codenamed “Tahoe” by Microsoft. As SharePoint has spread like wildfire ever since and AvePoint has grown right alongside it, we’ve connected with so many fascinating people worldwide. In order to shine a spotlight on our wonderful community and learn more about some of the individuals who make it shine, we are pleased to launch the “Faces of the Global Microsoft SharePoint Community” video series.

Want to know more about the faces you see attending SharePoint events, attached to blog posts, and on stage sharing the latest insights? This new series profiles MVPs, Microsoft employees, AvePoint partners, and other thought leaders from throughout the community. We’re pleased to launch the series with an interview with Jeff Shuey of Eastman Kodak. Watch Jeff’s video on AvePoint’s YouTube channel, and be sure to subscribe as we’ll be posting new videos each week.

When did you begin working with SharePoint, and thus join the global SharePoint community? Let us know in the comments below!
