Unable to change SharePoint icon

Details:

With the Change SharePoint Icon option selected, after running an Archiver job, the icon is not changed.

Solution:

  1. On each Web Front-end server, check and see if there are any nodes starting with arc_ in the following directory:Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\XML\DOCICON.XML
  2. On each Web Front-end server, check and see if there are any pictures with names starting with arc_ in the following directory:Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\IMAGES
  3. If neither of the directories in steps 1 and 2 contain nodes or pictures starting with arc_, navigate to DocAve > Control Panel > Agent Monitor.
  4. Select the Web Front-ends one by one and click Configure.
  5. Uncheck the Agent Type for Archiver, and then click Save.
  6. Re-select the Agent Types and save again.
  7. After all Agents have been reset, reset the IIS.
