Dead Account Cleaner removing active SharePoint groups or users

Details:

Dead Account Cleaner jobs are removing active SharePoint groups or users.

Cause:

Active SharePoint groups that are not linked to an AD group where claims based authentication is used will be removed by Dead Account Cleaner because with claims based authentication, DocAve compares the status of the group/user in SharePoint against the status of the group/user in Active Directory.

 

Solution:

Make sure that the right AD groups have been added to their SharePoint groups before running Dead Account Cleaner.
