AvePoint Takes the Windy City by Storm at Microsoft Ignite

As the hype and excitement from the first-ever Microsoft Ignite begins to settle, I’d love to discuss a few more of my favorite moments! As I shared in my post from the event last week, Ignite was packed with tons of exciting activity for both AvePoint and the conference as a whole. Our team was hard at work as the rest of the week went on and kept the AvePoint booth exciting until the event came to a close on Friday afternoon.

Throughout Ignite, we hosted a plethora of activities and games at AvePoint’s booth to bring attendees together to talk about the latest Microsoft news and have some fun. Randy Williams’ book signing brought attendees out in droves, standing in lines that snaked throughout the exhibit hall and waiting to get a free book and a few minutes with the renowned SharePoint expert. Conference attendees also took a welcomed break from the chaos of the expo floor with a quick game of giant Jenga – following instructions printed on the blocks asking them to take selfies with the Ducati, get strangers to visit the AvePoint booth, or tell us what Microsoft product they would like to be.

AvePoint Public Sector CTO Dux Raymond Sy certainly kept himself very busy throughout the event. In addition to leading two sessions throughout the conference, Dux interviewed Microsoft community leaders in a series of videos entitled “Dux Quax at Microsoft Ignite 2015”. You can watch all of the videos via the playlist below:

AvePoint’s team of thought leaders presented sessions on a wide variety of subjects ranging from business-oriented topics to technical announcements. John Peluso, Vice President of Product Management at AvePoint, even joined Microsoft executives on stage to discuss how AvePoint is taking advantage of the newly released Office 365 Management APIs. Weren’t able to make it to Chicago last week? Never fear! You can watch most of the sessions via the Channel 9 links below:

And, of course, how could we wrap up Ignite without giving away a Ducati motorcycle? As always, attendees crowded around AvePoint’s booth hoping that they might be the winner of a new red Ducati Monster 821. This year, the third number drawn was a winner, and Justin Hahn claimed the prize. Congratulations Justin! Enjoy your new bike!
