Our story began in 2001 in a New Jersey public library with a mission to provide Microsoft users with top-notch backup solutions for Microsoft Exchange.
Fast forward two decades, we're now a global digital workplace transformation leader, hosted in 14 global data centers for unmatched scalability and security. We're proud to have one of the largest SaaS userbases in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. With a more than half our workforce made up of technologists, we're always pushing the boundaries of digital workplace transformation with cutting-edge technology.
Our name “AvePoint” was coined by Co-Founder and Executive Chairman Kai Gong. During one of his daily commutes into New York City, he saw Times Square through a new lens. He realized this is the place where the avenues merge, bringing together people, ideas and energy.
