Overview

Are you someone who thrives on solving IT issues and keeping systems running smoothly? This role centers around managing our ticketing system and overseeing the deployment of IT assets across the organization. You’ll be the go-to person for resolving user requests, setting up hardware, and ensuring every employee has the tools they need to succeed. If you enjoy structured problem-solving and hands-on technical work, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact.

What You'll Be Doing

As an IT Administrator, your primary focus will be managing and resolving IT support requests through our ticketing system and handling the setup, deployment, and configuration of computers and peripherals for new and existing users. You’ll ensure smooth onboarding experiences, maintain accurate inventory records, and provide responsive support across a variety of common technical issues.

You’ll also assist with basic network troubleshooting, support internal events with hardware setup, and contribute to documentation that helps streamline IT operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and resolving IT support requests using a ticketing system (e.g., Freshservice, JIRA)
  • Setting up, imaging, and deploying computers and peripherals for users, including user-specific customization
  • Maintaining and updating asset inventory records for hardware and software
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning
  • Supporting internal events with hardware setup and coordination
  • Performing basic network checks (e.g., verifying connectivity, restarting devices, escalating issues)
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for repeatable tasks and support procedures
  • Providing occasional off-hours support and on-site assistance at nearby offices (up to 20% travel)

Is This the Right Role for You?

If you're detail-oriented, customer-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced IT support environment, this role is a great fit. You’ll be at the heart of our technical operations, ensuring users are supported and systems are ready to go.

What We Value

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, Helpdesk, or Level 1/2 IT Administration
  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Hands-on experience deploying IT hardware and software
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and support workflows
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • A methodical approach to troubleshooting and documentation
  • Some experience with Windows Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin Center is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% and provide occasional off-hours support (up to 10%)
