About the role:

This internship is designated for a Spring 2024 or Fall/December 2024 graduate. Fall/December 2024 graduates would maintain the internship part time until graduation. 

AvePoint is excited to provide the opportunity for a Data and AI Intern to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

As our Data & AI you will assist in the development and implementation of machine learning models and AI algorithms. Collaborate with the data science team to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights. Participate in the design and execution of data experiments and interpret and present the results.

 

Key responsibilities:  

• Support the team in the development of data-driven solutions to improve business processes and decision-making.
• Help in maintaining and improving the quality of our data sources and databases.
• Contribute to the development of data visualization tools and reports.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of data science and AI.

 

The ideal candidate has:

 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
