#OneAvePoint: Stories of Agility, Passion & Teamwork during COVID-19

-

At AvePoint, we place strong focus on our people and culture across the globe, and our core values are at the heart of everything we do! As COVID-19 began to affect teams around the world, we encouraged the AvePoint family to submit stories about how they have seen one another stay positive and connected during these unprecedented times. We then shared these stories during our quarterly town hall as a way to focus on inclusivity and the importance of leaning on one another now, more than ever.

Here are a few #OneAvePoint stories:

Agility

Some of our customers’ teams have been affected by downsizing, leaving knowledge gaps within the organization. Our Solution Engineers swiftly stepped in to work with their leaders to demonstrate the impact our solutions can have on their daily work environments.

Then there’s the more personal case of one of our Business Development Reps from Manila getting stranded while abroad in Australia and having to adjust on the fly. Despite the uncertainty during the global pandemic, his determination for smashing cold calls, providing Field Marketing the feedback they need, and supporting his teammates no matter the personal gain hasn’t faltered a bit.

Passion

In this time of great need, our DACH team provided support to a customer producing COVID-19 test kits. After noticing a few inconsistencies with their licensing for a roll out of Microsoft Teams, Cloud Governance, and Service Now, the team worked around the clock to support the customer in their go-live the following morning.

And of course, we can’t forget those AvePoint team members working in the background to make sure their fellow employees have what they need to succeed to support each other and our customers during the pandemic. They’ve been pivotal in ensuring our teams are well-equipped to work from home from both a technical and mental standpoint.

Teamwork

We’ve continued to see AvePoint employees wear multiple hats in their day-to-day to help their coworkers succeed. For instance, Project Managers have been stepping in to conduct Governance workshops to support our Solution Engineer team. Better yet, when some of our staff aren’t at work, several are spending their time giving back to their local communities.

The influence team members have on each other during this time is vital. Whether it be working together to virtually onboard a new team member or share ideas and viewpoints with members of the team that have been with them for years, community and positivity are lifelines during these uncertain times.
