London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom, is also home to the headquarters of AvePoint EMEA! Our office is located in the heart of the city in trendy Farringdon and is within walking distance of the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral, the River Thames, and many museums and food markets.
Our London office has team members across many departments, including Enterprise and Mid-Market Sales, Pre- and Post-Sales Engineering and Support, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and HR. Read on to learn more about what it’s like to work here!
Our Culture
We’re proud to have a multicultural office with team members from many different areas around the globe, including but not limited to Australia, India, France, Ireland, Bolivia, the US, and China. Each and every one of us is contributing to a busy office atmosphere! Our open concept layout—complete with pool, table tennis, and a modern kitchen area—really help to bring everyone closer together!
Our employees are at the heart of everything we do, so we make sure to celebrate them as often as we can. We do something special for Employee Appreciate Day, International Women’s Day, and other holidays our local staff celebrates and recognizes.
Last year, we gathered to watch the Wimbledon tournament and, to keep in line with tradition, we also had Pimms, strawberries, cream, and meringue whilst watching! We are very much into sporting events here!
What do we do when it’s raining outside (which can happen quite often in London)? We gather for happy hour on Thursdays or Fridays in the office, sometimes followed by an outing at the nearest pub or cocktail bar!
Quarterly Team Outings
Socializing outside of the office not only builds team cohesion but also encourages unique conversations across departments. London is a city that offers so much entertainment that it can be tough to decide where to go for our quarterly office outings. We’ve done everything from “Go Boat” in the summertime, where we drove boats on the canals around Paddington and Regents Park, to “Go Karting”, shuffleboard, and everything in-between!
We especially take pride in our Christmas parties. They start with Christmas Jumper Day in the office, followed by Secret Santa Roulette (the equivalent to a White Elephant gift exchange), and end with going to a venue where we celebrate the night away!
