No content is migrated to the destination

Details:
Migrating from SharePoint on premises to Office 365 is taking a long time, and when the job finishes, no content is migrated to the destination.
Cause:
The source users do not exist on the destination since the users on premises uses the Domain/User naming convention.
Solution:
Map the source users to the destination users using Domain Mapping before performing the migration.
