After synchronizing multiple libraries in Connector, users may receive errors in the synchronization report. Please refer to the following table for potential causes of common errors.

Error in Synchronization Report​ ​Potential Causes
The file is a system file. ​DocAve leverages the SharePoint API. Since SharePoint doesn’t support system files to be uploaded to SharePoint, Connector does not support to upload these files either.
The file is 0 kb.​ ​DocAve leverages the SharePoint API. Since SharePoint doesn’t support 0 kb files to be uploaded to SharePoint, Connector does not support to upload these files either.
The file is hidden.​ ​DocAve leverages the SharePoint API. Since SharePoint doesn’t support hidden files to be uploaded to SharePoint, Connector does not support to upload these files either.
The path of the file is too long.​ ​The Net Share UNC path for the corresponding file is too long that DocAve was not able to find it. If customer would like to upload the file, please move the folder to place with shorter UNC path.
The file’s URL is too long to add to SharePoint.​ ​The file name is too long, exceeding the SharePoint limitation. SharePoint do not support to upload these files. If the user wants to upload the file, shorten the name or use a common mapping. If you apply a common mapping to limit the file name, all the files in the corresponding library will be truncated. For more information, refer to the DocAve Connector User Guide.
The file has been blocked by the SharePoint administrator.​ ​The corresponding document type has been blocked by SharePoint Administrator. If you would like to upload the file, change the settings for the blocked type.
The synchronization of this file has been skipped. The file was in the process of being moved to another location in SharePoint.​ ​Since the file moved, Connector will currently skip it because the file is no longer in the corresponding Net Share folder.
​The folder is read-only. Connector currently does not support to upload any files or folders with a read-only property.
