Checking the Extender Settings in DocAve 5

Details:

To check if the Extender Settings are correctly configured for your farm in DocAve 5, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to DocAve Manager GUI > Storage Optimization > Extender > Extender Settings.
  2. Select and load the validation farm.
  3. Select one Web Application with Extender Settings.
  4. Click the Preview button of the corresponding content database. (Refer to the Preview.png screenshot attached to this article.) If there is criteria and the logical device is displayed in the pop-up window, the Extender Settings are correctly configured.

*Note: If the database is not shown as yellow, the RBS have not been enabled.
