Overview 

Want a role where you can oversee enterprise-level projects in the fast-paced tech industry? This position is your opportunity to manage a slate of diverse projects of all scopes and sizes for a global organization. 

What will you be doing? 

As a Project Manager, your job is to work with cross-functional teams, as well as with external vendors, partners, and customers to fulfil the project deliverables. You will be tasked with developing and managing project schedules, scopes, resources, and monitoring of project health. This includes identifying risks, defining problem solving strategies, and facilitating conflict resolution to ensure our projects are successful from start to finish. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to initiate a project. Clearly define project goal and objective, project scope, deliverables, and prepare project management plan.
• Unify team efforts and lead effective team meetings, communication and promote collaboration, resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks from both external and internal counterparts. Work alongside an international team from other regions when necessary.
• Identify potential risks early, analyze possible impact, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders. Closely monitor project progress and provide regular updates to various levels of stakeholders.
• Manage other day-to-day operational aspects of projects and ad-hoc tasks. Creating and executing project plans and revising them as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identifying and assembling project teams as well as providing leadership and mentoring to ensure effective completion
• Effectively applying AvePoint delivery methodology and enforcing project standards.
• Minimizing company exposure and risk on projects through early detection, development of contingency plans, and full communication
• Maintaining current and complete project management data and documents in the company database; analyzing and reporting project performance metrics
• Effectively managing communication across all levels of management (both internally and externally)

In this role, you are tasked with managing projects and people across departments and within the product strategy and engineering technical teams. You will need to have a strong business sense, be process-driven, and have excellent communication skills to be able to assess complex, technical situations and redirect projects when needed.  

Other qualities you’ll need to be a fit for this role include: 

• BA/BS degree
• 3-4 years of relevant project management experience
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Manage and advise customer of project scope and objectives, involving relevant business and technical stakeholders to help ensure technical feasibility 
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on knowledge and/or experience in software development and web technologies
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, including reporting and escalating to management as needed
• Demonstrate leadership leading personalities in cross-functional teams and managing priorities as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as project plans, weekly status reports, etc.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills, extremely high attention to detail, ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently
• Awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application to AvePoint’s business and the industry
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project and PWA
• Familiarity with CRM systems including Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Fast learner with a passion for technology
• Certified Scrum Master certification preferred
• PMP Certification or PSM are a plus! 

The Salary Range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
