AvePoint Announces SII, Orangutech, Habanero as Exclusive Resell Partners for Canada
Partners will exclusively offer leading solutions for migrating, managing, and backing up Office 365, SharePoint
Jersey City, New Jersey - January 20, 2019 – AvePoint announced today that leading Canada-based resell and technology providers SII Canada, Orangutech, and Habanero will be entrusted with the marketing, sale, and support of AvePoint solutions in Canada.
AvePoint’s migration, backup, management, and protection solutions for Office 365, SharePoint Server, and hybrid environments are leveraged by more than 16,000 organizations including more than 175 based in Canada.
“AvePoint’s partner-driven strategy for the Canadian market has allowed us to scale our growth and elevate our local presence,” said Tom Ward, Partner Account Manager, AvePoint. “Our partners have an intimate knowledge of the unique Office 365 and Microsoft technology needs of Canadian customers and how to best support this robust market.”
SII Canada is a solution provider with cutting-edge expertise in IT, engineering, and innovative methodologies. They originally signed on as an AvePoint partner in 2018 and will be the reseller for organizations east of Ontario with a team of bilingual personnel based in Montreal and Toronto.
“We’ve been working side by side with AvePoint for a year covering eastern Canada. We are thrilled that success has led to signing an even bigger partnership for SII to be AvePoint’s exclusive distributor in all of Eastern and Central Canada,” said Joris Faure, Director of IT Consulting Services, SII Canada and Microsoft MVP. “We both share the same vision and we are very glad to bring this partnership to the next level.”
Orangutech is an Ottawa-based Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in both Collaboration and Content as well as Application Development. Founded in 2003, Orangutech helps clients modernize their workplace while maximizing user adoption and effective collaboration using Microsoft-centric services and software. They will be the exclusive AvePoint partner serving the Canadian federal government.
“Orangutech is thrilled to announce our exclusive partnership agreement with AvePoint which focuses on the Federal Government of Canada. With the increased adoption of Office 365 within the Federal Government, Orangutech noticed a gap surrounding the governance and management of all these new systems being deployed across departments,” said Barry Doucette, chief executive officer of Orangutech. “AvePoint’s Cloud Governance, Cloud Backup, and migration tools fill that gap, providing immediate value to our customers in the public sector as they move more towards Microsoft cloud-based solutions. We are excited to grow this partnership and help the federal government of Canada adopt and govern the cloud more effectively.”
Habanero, an IT services provider and reseller that helps humanize the world of work through the creation of modern workplaces, will be the exclusive partner serving Western Canada (including organizations west of Ontario).
“Habanero helps improve the world of work, and what better way to do that than to help organizations and people work more effectively with the content they use every day,” said Brian Edwards director of products and services. “We’ve worked with many organizations to start their journey to the cloud and are excited to partner with AvePoint to make working in Office 365 more seamless, secure, and predictable.”
