Using Claims-Based Authentication (ADFS) to perform a job transfers the ​content correctly, but not the user settings. This applies to Content Manager, Replicator, and Backup and Restore.

SYMPTOMS:

​Using Claims-Based Authentication to perform a job transfers the content correctly, but not the user settings. ​This applies to Content Manager, Replicator, and Backup and Restore.

CAUSE:

​By default, the ADFS is not enabled in DocAve 6.0.

SOLUTION:

Navigate to the agent folder C:\Program Files\AvePoint\DocAve6\Agent\bin\ and open the AgentCommonWrapperConfig.config file using Notepad. In the config file, change the False value to True. Save and exit the config file. This enables ADFS for DocAve 6.0.
