File share documents can’t be accessed through SharePoint

Details:

​Connected files can not be accessed through SharePoint in some libraries and lists.

Cause:

Settings may have been changed either within DocAve or SharePoint that disrupted the syncing between SharePoint and the File Share.

Solution:

Re-connect the File Shares to their respective lists and libraries within SharePoint, which you can find the steps for below:

1. Clear the Connector settings within the SharePoint Library Settings
2. Delete the Shared Documents library for the site
3. Recreated the Shared Documents library for the site
4. Sync the Shared Documents library manually within SharePoint
5. Test a document from the file share à SharePoint
6. Set the schedule for a time greater than every 5 minutes (30 minutes to start depending on how often items are synced)

The File Share items should be correctly synced with SharePoint.
