Details:
The Content Shield displays the Web front-end as down, even though Content Shield is working properly (content is still getting blocked successfully).
SYMPTOMS:
Content Shield successfully blocks content, but shows the Web-front end as down.
CAUSE:
Content Shield uses a simple ping to see if a Web front-end is running. It may be that a firewall is blocking ICMP, which would stop the ping from completing.
SOLUTION:
Enable ICPM on the servers in question; the Web front-ends should go back to green (online).
