Every vendor claims they’re committed to partners — “channel-first” gets thrown around a lot.  But here’s what I’ve learned: Real commitment means showing up in how you invest, not just what you say. AvePoint’s vision is clear: Empower our partners with the tools, resources, and support they need to drive exceptional customer outcomes and build thriving businesses. This isn’t just a strategic pivot; it’s a fundamental commitment that shapes every decision we make, from product development to go-to-market strategy.

This year, we’ve backed up that commitment with significant investments across acquisitions, product innovation, partner programs, enablement, and ecosystem expansion. Let me walk you through what we’ve accomplished together and where we’re headed next.

Strategic Investments and Milestones

Partners aren’t simply an extension of our sales force; they are the primary vehicle through which we bring value to customers worldwide. AvePoint’s acquisition of Ydentic represents a strategic leap forward in supporting MSP partners with enhanced managed services capabilities. Ydentic brings robust hybrid identity and access management (IAM) and comprehensive user management capabilities that we’ve seamlessly integrated into the AvePoint Elements platform.

This acquisition wasn’t just about adding features — it was about deepening our understanding of what MSPs need to scale efficiently and deliver continuous value to their customers. The Ydentic capabilities enable partners to manage user lifecycles, streamline provisioning and deprovisioning, and provide sophisticated identity governance across hybrid environments, all within the AvePoint Elements ecosystem.

Product Innovation: Next-Generation AvePoint Elements Platform

In 2025, we launched our next-generation AvePoint Elements platform, purpose-built to help partners differentiate their offerings and capture a greater share of the wallet. The platform introduces groundbreaking capabilities across several critical areas:

  • Azure data protection. Enhanced backup and recovery capabilities ensure partners can protect their customers’ Azure workloads with enterprise-grade reliability and granular recovery options.
  • Advanced workspace management. New tools enable partners to optimize collaboration environments, automate governance workflows, and deliver consistent user experiences across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Integrated security features. Built-in security capabilities help partners address compliance requirements, detect threats, and respond to incidents without requiring multiple point solutions.
  • Ydentic integration. The seamless incorporation of Ydentic’s capabilities brings user and device management, storage optimization, and compliance modules directly into Elements, creating a unified platform for delivering comprehensive managed services.

These innovations aren’t developed in isolation. They emerge from continuous dialogue with partners about the challenges they face and the opportunities they want to capture.

This year, we’ve also formalized and expanded our advisory council structure, creating dedicated forums for MSPs and strategic partners to influence our product roadmap and go-to-market strategies. The feedback loop we’ve established ensures that partner innovation drives AvePoint’s innovation. Some of our most impactful product enhancements this year originated directly from discussions with our partner advisory council.

Partners’ voices shape AvePoint’s direction. We launched targeted training campaigns, refreshed our playbooks, built module-specific courses for AvePoint Elements capabilities, and created standardized workshops for customer discovery and solution design.

Partner Enablement and Learning 

We’ve launched comprehensive training campaigns and refreshed our enablement playbooks to ensure partners can quickly master new Elements capabilities and effectively position our solutions.

But here’s what matters most: Partners are using these resources, completing the training, and seeing results. We’re tracking improvements in win rates, deal sizes, and customer satisfaction among partners who engage with our enablement programs. The metrics tell me we’re on the right track.

Command Center Redesigned 

Recognizing that the partner portal is your daily workspace, we’ve completely redesigned the experience to be more intuitive, efficient, and valuable. The new portal features:

  • Simplified navigation. Find what you need quickly by using reorganized menus and intelligent search.
  • Progress tracking. Monitor points accumulation, certification status, and program tier progression with visual dashboards, and view suggested next steps for your journey.
  • Streamlined deal registration. Register deals faster with more transparent processes for protecting and tracking opportunities.
  • Enhanced reporting. Access real-time visibility into pipeline, revenue, and performance metrics.
  • Direct support access. Connect easily to partner managers and technical resources whenever you need assistance.

Global Partnerships and Ecosystem Expansion

Our new partnership with the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) strengthens our connection to the Microsoft partner community and creates new opportunities for collaboration and learning.

AvePoint also expanded marketplace integrations, making it easier for partners to transact through preferred channels and reach customers where they’re already buying.  In addition to enhanced support for Google Workspace, AvePoint now offers multi-SaaS backup capabilities for platforms such as Monday.com and the Atlassian suite, empowering partners to protect customer data across a broader range of collaboration tools. 

These ecosystem investments create more pathways for partners to engage customers, leverage complementary technologies, and build comprehensive solution portfolios.

Proving Channel-First Commitment

The true measure of our channel-first commitment is in the results our partners achieve. One MSP partner recently told me, “The investments AvePoint has made have fundamentally changed our business. By the numbers: We’ve seen significant growth in active partner engagement, with increases in certified professionals, joint customer deployments, and partner-sourced revenue. More importantly, partner satisfaction scores have reached all-time highs, and we’ve seen measurable improvements in partner profitability and customer retention.
