Transcript

Christian: The question for this episode is: What are AvePoint Community Champions? I’m excited to cover this topic, as I lead the Community Champions program, and am very passionate about our customer and partner community.

Sam: The Community Champions program has been around for a couple years now, but along with the launch of our new Partner Program in July 2021, we are also expanding the Champions program and adding new faces from our partner community.

Christian: That’s exactly right. For those not familiar with the program, The Community Champion program is a way for AvePoint to empower community members to share their technical expertise and business perspectives on collaboration, communication, and management features and solutions. Champions provide content and perspectives from a neutral standpoint and extend the reach of our collective network.

Community Champions are trusted advisors and respected influencers within the Microsoft technical community as well as other cloud environments. They have a passion for the latest technological innovations and are always giving back to the broader community.

Sam: What exactly does it mean to be member of the Community Champions program, and what are the benefits?

Christian: Membership in the program is a great way to extend the scope and scale of their own influence, providing Community Champions with opportunities to collaborate with and learn from each other, from the community, and from AvePoint employees.

Community Champions provide expertise through a number of methods, including content like blogs and ebooks, creating videos, participating in panels, webinars and other online and in-person events like the annual Shift Happens Conference.

While Community Champions always provide neutral, independent perspectives, they are also advocates for AvePoint. They know our products and have deeper insights into our roadmap and activities. As such, it is also important that our relationship with our Champions be equitable. They give a lot to AvePoint and the community, and we want to give back — in an appropriate way.

Sam: How can partners get involved in the Community Champions program? Is there a nomination process?

Christian: Yes, there is a nomination process. Partners should share their interest with their Partner Manager, who will be able to provide additional guidance on the program expectations. There is a certain amount of exclusivity in membership, because we work very closely with each individual member to develop a joint community strategy.

Sam: There’s a lot more detail around the program, of course, and I’m sure partners will have questions and want to know more.

Christian: They can also find more information and a listing of current Community Champion program members at www.avepoint.com/lp/community-champion.

Sam: Thank you for that overview, Christian. As always, to find out more about AvePoint’s Partner Program, visit www.avepoint.com/partners.
