AvePoint’s Channel Business Keeps Growing: More Partnerships and More Places to Buy Globally

If you listened to our most recent earnings call, then you know that channel strategy is a big part of our business here at AvePoint. In the past few months, we’ve been working hard to make significant enhancements to our global partner program so we can better service the entire AvePoint partner ecosystem, which is growing at a fast clip.

By the end of 2021, AvePoint surpassed 2,800 total partners–including MSPs, VARs, systems integrators, cloud consultants, DevOps partners, and distributors–with our main goal of empowering all businesses to collaborate with confidence.

AvePoint has always had a presence with large systems integrators, including IBM. In June 2021, AvePoint and IBM announced efforts to strengthen the IBM Spectrum Protect portfolio and accelerate growth for IBM’s enterprise data resilience offerings. As we continue our relationship with IBM, our focus remains on advancing multi-cloud data protection solutions through harmonizing our existing technology and resale relationship.

To support our growing channel presence, AvePoint has also added large distributors to our portfolio, including Ingram, D&H, Arrow, TD Synnex, rhipe, and more. We know that the way in which our partners buy AvePoint technology is diverse—and it has to be in today’s day and age. That’s why we want to make it easy on our partners by being available in all the marketplaces that matter to them.


For example, D&H Distributing is a leading technology distributor of IT solutions in North America. D&H’s Modern Solutions Team enables partners to take advantage of a fast-growing market in SMB Cloud Managed Services by equipping them with key technologies across in-demand solution segments. Through partnering with D&H, AvePoint extends our reach into the MSP community with solutions for migrating, managing, and protecting their clients’ M365 workspaces.

All the while, AvePoint continues to enhance our technology for partners. Since launching our global partner program back in July, we’ve ensured all updates to our enterprise-grade technology are available for partners via the Elements MSP portal. Recently, AvePoint’s leading Cloud Backup capabilities for Google Workspace and Salesforce have been integrated, as well as enhancements for ransomware detection, information lifecycle management, and more. And for Cloud Backup specifically, we were recently awarded a Spring 2022 Leader Badge for the Online Backup Software grid by G2, and named a Leader in the Forrester New Wave: SADP – even more validation for partners choosing to use AvePoint.
