Office 365 and Microsoft Teams are at the top of their game. The former has more than 155 million monthly active users worldwide, while the latter is the fastest growing business application in Microsoft’s history. The commercial adoption rate of Office 365 and Microsoft Teams is accelerating as organizations experience an increase in productivity and collaboration by leveraging a modern, digital workplace.

With these concerns in mind, we recently unveiled vital updates to our Cloud Governance solution that’ll enhance an organization’s ability to safely collaborate with external users in Microsoft Teams.
The new updates to AvePoint Cloud Governance allow organizations to safely collaborate with external users by providing more granular control over which Office 365 workspaces and data can be shared with external parties.
New policy-level controls—which can be applied to Office 365 Groups, Microsoft Teams and Modern SharePoint Team sites—ensure each workspace has the appropriate level of external sharing based on the use and type of information stored in that workspace.
