SharePoint Conference 2014 Mid-Show Dispatch #SPC14

Greetings from sunny Las Vegas, NV! As you are most likely well aware, SharePoint Conference 2014 is underway here at The Venetian Hotel and it’s been non-stop excitement and activity from day one. The event kicked off yesterday with a keynote that featured a much-anticipated speech by former President Bill Clinton as well as presentations from Microsoft showcasing the latest SharePoint innovations and customer success stories. The keynote was so buzzed-about that “#SPC14” trended on Twitter. In case you missed it, the entire keynote is available for on-demand viewing on the SharePoint Conference website.

Since it opened, AvePoint’s booth (#2214) has been an absolute whirlwind of activity. People are stopping by to see our latest products and solutions on display, get their SharePoint questions answered by our team, and partake in our special initiatives – whether it’s getting a book signed by one of our experts or putting their names in the running to win our Ducati Monster 696.

Of course, last night’s buzz centered on the RED Party – AvePoint’s exclusive event held at the TAO Nightclub on Monday, March 3. Approximately 1,200 AvePoint customers, partners, community leaders, and friends celebrated all throughout a night that will surely be remembered for years to come. TAO served as the perfect setting for this year’s event with a dance floor that stayed packed the entire night as well as snake handlers, stilt walkers, sword swallowers, live drummers, and all kinds of other attractions to delight the senses. Thanks to everyone who joined us for the celebration!
