Cricket Tasmania is the governing body of cricket in Tasmania, promoting and developing the game throughout the state. After years of utilizing IBM Lotus Notes and Domino in order to allow its employees to collaborate over the company intranet, the organization experienced challenges around finding developers on the platform and training its staff. Cricket Tasmania chose to implement Microsoft Office 365 instead and began to host its intranet, calendars, workflows, news boards, and other company resources through SharePoint Online. However, the organization ran into a challenge when it came to protecting its Office 365 data. In both SharePoint Online and Exchange Online, content can only be restored within 14 days of its deletion. In order to minimize business disruption and support users, Cricket Tasmania’s ICT department decided this was insufficient. Additionally, the company planned to retire its onsite tape backup solution in order to reduce overhead required to maintain the system. With these needs at the forefront, Cricket Tasmania sought a cloud-based solution. By implementing DocAve Online, Cricket Tasmania was able to:
