In AvePoint’s Own Words: Sarju Raja

Attending last month’s management meeting felt very much like a family reunion! Reacquainting with colleagues from around the globe who over the years have grown to become close friends makes travelling for business more like pleasure.

The past four years has been like riding a runaway train, being part of the AvePoint family and experiencing first-hand how quickly the company has grown – in more ways than one! I remember the first management meeting I was invited to, 20 of us crammed into the 8th floor conference room. Flash forward to this year, where we filled the grand ballroom in the Westin Hotel!

While 2011 was a tough year, the fear of a global double-dip-recession and the austerity measures introduced by our governments wasn’t enough to stop AvePoint from having another booming year. Looking forward, it is so inspiring to see that no one is resting on their laurels and the entire company is focused on making 2012 AvePoint’s most successful year to date.

If I had to summarize my key takeaway from the two-day meeting, it would have to be this: Companies like AvePoint don’t come around every day, and it’s up to each individual to seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to truly achieve something great!
