From Tahoe to Today – AvePoint & Microsoft at Worldwide Partner Conference #WPC13

Today marks the first day of Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2013, which is the premiere event where 16,000 members of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem will come together to learn more about the future of Microsoft’s products and corporate initiatives.

AvePoint is a proud partner of Microsoft from the very beginning of SharePoint, when it was code named Tahoe, back in 2001. To get a glimpse into the importance of SharePoint and the community it has fostered over the last 12 years, please watch our video. Since then, as SharePoint has evolved so has AvePoint. Today, we continue to work closely with Microsoft to address the four major trends it believes are shaping collaboration and productivity today – Big Data, Cloud, Mobile, and Social – with the four pillars that we believe help organizations collaborate with confidence – Compliance, Governance, Infrastructure Management, and Productivity.

In honor of WPC 2013, be sure to follow AvePoint on social media this week as each day we will share with you information on how AvePoint is not only supporting Microsoft’s products and initiatives today, but how we are already answering tomorrow’s challenges.

Amidst the digitization of business borne out of today’s trends of mobility, enterprise social, cloud, and big data access, AvePoint empowers global enterprises to collaborate with confidence by providing the right level of infrastructure and strategic systems to lower overall cost of delivering advances to the business while enabling innovation. Our history and strength in the bits and bytes of enterprise collaboration infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud, enable us to extend our coverage to help global enterprises achieve a unified collaboration vision that stitches together today’s data silos with tomorrow’s enterprise utopia.
