We just launched some important new updates to the AvePoint Confidence Platform! This release introduces a new, modern, more intuitive user interface along with enhanced security settings to ensure secure collaboration for your SaaS operations. New and improved functionality and features focus on security, insights, automation, and governance. Here’s a look at what’s new for June 2023:

What’s New in Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365?

Microsoft Power Platform is revolutionizing how we get work done! With this release, we continue to enhance our Power Platform support with backup for Power Apps, now available in preview mode.

Plus, Planner data can now be backed up and restored using App Profiles in addition to delegated apps, for increased flexibility.

What’s New in Cloud Backup for Salesforce?

This release offers expanded compare functionality so metadata between organizations can now be compared, either in backed up records or in Salesforce production, offering you a more complete picture of your user environments.

New expanded support for restoring metadata types now allow you to restore Record Pages and Sharing Rules metadata types. When restoring metadata, you can now search for specific metadata types, and when adding user mappings, you can now import a CSV file to upload profiles in bulk.

What’s New in Cloud Backup for Google Workspace?

Ensure your user’s privacy and data rights are GDPR compliant with new Data Subject Access Request functionality now available for Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, and Drive data. Service level deletion is now available for data in Cloud backup for Google Workspaces.

Plus, you will now be able to configure security groups in your tenants, so you will now have more control over what various users can see and access. These groups can be set up with specific permissions and can be managed with the click of a button.

What’s New in Cloud Backup for Azure?

A new ”dry run” option is now available to users who want to restore Admin Portal Settings, so you can now generate a job report and review the affected settings before running the actual restore. Plus, Cloud Backup for Azure is now available in German.

What’s New in Cloud Backup for Dynamics 365?

Additional BYOS storage options are now available! Dynamics 365 Backup now supports IBM Spectrum Protect – S3 and IBM Cloud Object Storage. Plus, Cloud Backup for Dynamics is now available in German.

What’s New in ReCenter for Microsoft 365?

ReCenter will now allow you to export archived data to a local device for data that needs to be managed in line with their specific organizational requirements. This functionality will be supported for SharePoint, Teams, Groups, OneDrive, and Exchange data.

What’s New in AvePoint Cloud Governance?

Cloud Governance continues to expand its Microsoft Teams renewal experience to now include shared channel renewal support. This new addition will ensure that shared channel membership is reviewed and confirmed during a Team renewal process. Once a Team renewal task is generated, shared channel tasks will also be generated for Teams that have shared channels.

Cloud Governance continues to expand the types of Microsoft objects that are supported by the provisioning framework. In this release, we’ve added new profiles that will help support the ongoing management of Azure AD security groups, distribution lists, and shared mailboxes including automated escalation profiles, automatic import profiles, renewal profiles, and contact election profiles.

Plus, this release offers expanded dynamic services capabilities as well as new escalation profiles that can be applied to renewal and contact election profiles.

What’s New in AvePoint Fly?

Migration projects with large amounts of data will now be better equipped to meet aggressive timelines with automation through scripting that is now available for SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams and Groups processes, with more in store in the next release. Plus, Fly can now migrate from Gmail (mail, calendar, and contacts) to Exchange Online.

A new app profile is now available for Fly Power Platform migration. The new app can be configured directly in AOS and contains all the necessary API permissions to perform Power Apps and Power Automate flow migrations.

Plus, when performing Teams and Groups migrations, users can now specify additional policies for Exchange Online and SharePoint Online within the migration policy.

What’s New in AvePoint EnPower?

This release introduces new technical updates to improve Microsoft 365 management and Call Management, along with a new custom Azure app with delegated permissions for Power Platform management. Plus, if you have a subscription to Microsoft 365 Management in Cloud Governance, you can now renew shared mailboxes, security groups, mail-enabled security groups, and distribution groups in AvePoint EnPower.
