Here is how the Portal works: 1. End-users are provided with a central web portal, and are entitled to submit requests to migrate the sites they own. 2. The requests will go through workflows in order to be approved or rejected by IT administrators or other personnel responsible for the migration process. 3. If a request is approved, the migration is split into multiple jobs. 4. The jobs are then queued and managed to be run by DocAve in the background in order to avoid congestion or pressure to the live SharePoint environment. 5. End-users will be updated on the status of their jobs by email or by checking the migration management website.
