Director, Records & Information Management Strategy, AvePointAlyssa Blackburn is the Director of Information and Records Strategy at AvePoint, where she helps organizations achieve value from their information and records.
With more than 18 years of experience in the information management industry, Alyssa has worked with both public and private sector organizations to deliver guidance for information management success in the digital age. She is responsible for the development of AvePoint’s information and records management solution, AvePoint Records and Cloud Records, and has been involved with implementing our records management solution with government agencies and commercial clients.
A passionate information management professional, Alyssa is actively involved in the industry and is an in demand speaker at conferences and industry events worldwide. She frequently contributes to industry publications and will happily talk for hours about how to modernize a retention and disposal schedule and classification scheme.
Bruce Berends
Product Strategy Lead, AvePointBruce has over 20 years’ experience across multiple technical consulting and management roles, with all these roles touching small to large businesses, public and private organisations, and a wide range of technologies.
Bruce has a passion for people and loves mentoring and leadership as part of managing highly effective teams. His technical specialties are architecture and solution design of Microsoft solutions. His strengths lie in bridging the gap between technology and business, with exceptional customer relationship skills alongside his technical skills and management experience.
He has obtained several Microsoft Certifications, and has most recently completed his Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate Certification.
