AvePoint Releases a Full-fidelity Item Level Exchange Public Folder to SharePoint Migration Solution

AvePoint announced the official release of the DocAve 4.1 Exchange Public Folder to SharePoint Migration module. This tool enables SharePoint administrators to migrate content from Exchange Public Folders to either Windows SharePoint Services 2003 or 2007, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003, or MOSS 2007.


Migration is down to the item level— meaning single documents, contacts, tasks, messages, and calendar items can be migrated. Migration is also full-fidelity with all metadata mapped from Exchange to the appropriate location in SharePoint. This solution enables the co-existence of both Exchange Public Folders and SharePoint within an organization, and allows customers to migrate selective content over time according to their business needs.
